Join us for this 40-minute presentation and 10-minute Q&A session on the topic of High Risk Foot – Experience of managing wounds in a Tertiary Hospital.

Tejus and Simon will discuss how to assess a high-risk foot wound, management options for a high-risk foot wound and our experiences of integrating Endorsement of Schedule (ESM) Medicines into a Tertiary hospital. We will also discuss a case study for ESM purposes from our patient group.

What we will cover:

1. Understand how to undertake a basic cursory assessment of a foot wound to triage its severity.
2. Understand what services a High-Risk Foot Clinic can offer to manage a patient’s foot wound.
3. Analyse a case study of a high-risk foot patient requiring Endorsement for Scheduled Medicines intervention, providing insights into the practical application of medication management in complex cases.
