Advanced Needling for Podiatrists
This workshop will expand the practical needling skills of eligible participants** and includes an introduction to anatomy trains and functional fitness movement testing and screening.
Course Outline:
This workshop will introduce more needling skills and further increase your clinical effectiveness
The advanced workshop will continue with hands on practical sessions. After a review of previous content we will focus on specific techniques used for working through the complex management required for dealing with chronic pain, sports and musculoskeletal injuries
- Explore the use of acupuncture and advanced dry needling techniques
- Explore knee thigh and lower back needling techniques
- You will be taught Dry Needling with the use of some traditional acupuncture points that when used can help to relieve chronic pain and improve homeostasis of tissue injuries
- Nicole will also introduce Anatomy Trains (Tom Myers) and the use of functional Fitness Testing and movement screening in a clinical setting
