About the presenters

Dr Saibal Guha MBBS, FRANZCP, MD (Psychiatry), is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Belmont Private Hospital. Dr Guha started his career in 1998 as a Psychiatrist with the Armed Forces in India. He relocated to Australia in 2006 where he has held the positions of A/Director of the Acute Mental Health Unit Toowoomba, Clinical Director of Acute Care Team at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Dy Clinical Director of Mental Health for Country Health in South Australia.

Dr Guha's special interests include Military Psychiatric Care, Telepsychiatry, PTSD, Complex Mood and Anxiety Spectrum Disorders, Adult ADHD, Conversion Disorders and Comorbid substance use related disorders.

Dr Guha is passionate about improving patient-professional communication and advancing the medical profession. He is closely involved with Registrar Training at Belmont Private Hospital and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and Griffith University. www.saicotalk.com.au.
