APodA Student Membership
The APodA is the professional body representing registered podiatrists, podiatric surgeons and podiatry students in Australia. We're here to help you advance your career and connect with your peers.
As a student member of the APodA, you receive:
- Access to our member resources including our graduate resources which help guide you through the transition from student to clinician. Clinical and professional resources including guidelines, templates, assessment tools and more.
- Access to qualified HR (employment) professionals to help you navigate employment contracts, pay rates and entitlements. Offering over-the-phone and email support they can assist you with your employment-related enquiries.
- Access to the APodA's classifieds to find podiatry jobs, including graduate positions Australia wide
- Complimentary student professional indemnity and public liability insurance cover through the APodA Insurance Program. This extends to 30 June in the first year since graduation - this means you can start work at the start of the year knowing your insurance requirements are in place.
- Mental health support with qualified counsellors through our member assistance program
- The option to join our member-only Facebook groups to connect with other podiatrists
- Regular professional e-news updates specific to podiatry
