  • My knowledge of the podiatry profession in Australia and the UK, well developed leadership and communication skills, and my capability for effective networking, would be valuable for an APodA Board Director role.
  • I have a deep understanding of podiatry education and the collaborative approach required by universities and industry to promote the profession, attract prospective students, and ensure sustainability of the podiatry workforce.
  • My experience in creating professional networks and skills in developing collaborative research projects, would contribute to building capacity of the APodA Board.
  • My role as the inaugural Chair of the Australasian Council of Podiatry Deans enhanced my understanding of the value of an effective Board of Directors and developed my capability for governance, strategic planning, and risk assessment.
