Personal attributes relevant to the role:
I am excited about the opportunity to make a contribution back to the profession which has enabled me to realise many opportunities. With a foundation as a podiatrist and a current role as an Executive in health commissioning, I bring a rare and valuable lens to the Board: clinical insights grounded in frontline care and strategic systems thinking informed by population health and service planning.
Over the course of 20 plus years since I graduated as a podiatrist, I have worked across clinical, operational and strategic roles (in regional, public and private settings) developing a strong reputation for collaborative leadership, good decision making and a commitment to high-value person centred care. My continuing experience as a podiatrist, and links to health professionals across a variety of settings, ensures a strong connection to real-world challenges, while my commissioning expertise supports insight to policy and innovation to elevate the profession and improve outcomes.
