Job description:

The role:

• Provide a high standard of podiatric services to patients in the Northern District.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to build on community capacity for enhancing the health of individuals, groups and the community.
• As a member of Podiatry North provide support to an integrated podiatry/foot health service.

 Primary Health North, Northern Integrated Care Centre, North, Podiatry:

• Community position working within a team of Allied Health including High Risk Foot and Musculoskeletal Podiatrist and other Health Professionals. with opportunity to practise full scope of evidence based podiatry.
• Looking for a focus on preventative interventions, programs and mentoring of Community Podiatrist and Allied Health Assistants. 
• Position does include traveling to an outreach site in work time and car, at least once a week, with one over night clinic every 3 months. 

Details of Appointment:

Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 1 November 2024.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

• Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed term full time, part time and casual vacancies.

Salary: $106,966 - $123,013 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

• Please note that access to salaries beyond $115,573 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme 

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: 

• Professional Development Allowance of up to $1,000 per annum
• Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

1. Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Podiatry Board of Australia
2. Registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia

*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
