Tell me more... the Cape York Allied Health Outreach team provides comprehensive primary healthcare services to the remote communities of Aurukun, Kowanyama, Pormpuraaw, Coen and Lockhart River to predominantly Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. The role delivers podiatry care in a multidisciplinary outreach model, to predominantly Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. The role delivers clinical care across the lifespan, for a broad range of presentations, including high-risk foot pathology. The team and the health service will support learning in aspects of generalist or high-risk foot clinical practice which may be new or less familiar to you.
