Full-time or part-time podiatrist position at Nurture Podiatry - Victor Harbor
We are a friendly coastal private practice, providing individualised podiatry care to all ages and presentations. Our principal podiatrist, Noami Harvey, worked for 15 years in the public sector, providing structured clinical mentoring and training to rural podiatrists and students throughout the state.
Lifestyle
The Fleurieu Peninsula is located 1 hour from Adelaide, with beautiful beaches, delicious food and wine, and an active arts community. Surfing, camping, hiking, fishing, cycling, surf lifesaving and team sports (football, netball, tennis, basketball) are popular activities the locals enjoy.
Team
We have a practice manager and full administration support for our podiatrists. We work within the newly built Victor Health Hub, a large multi-disciplinary health building, providing an interesting and varied case load, and ability to work collaboratively in a health care team.
Learn
Regularly scheduled 1-to-1 mentoring, weekly professional development with other Health Practitioners. For new graduates, there is also option to commence education with clinic podiatrists to get real world private practice insights before starting.
Avoid Burnout
60 minute initial consultations and 30 minute follow up consultations, with additional time for administrative tasks. Negotiable mix of workload to suit the individual. Graded exposure to private practice areas of podiatry to build confidence and competence.
Facilities
Nurture Podiatry is located at the newly built Victor Health Hub, in an allied health suite. We share the facility with a large medical practice, physiotherapy and exercise physiology practice, dental practice, imaging, pathology, pharmacy and visiting specialists. Our team attends a weekly pilates mat work class at the physiotherapy practice, which is paid for by the business.

The Rural Doctors Workforce Agency (RDWA) provide Rural Relocation Grants of up to $5000 to offset the costs associated with living in your new rural town for the first year. The grants are to assist with moving personal effects, buying basic whitegoods or furniture, and rental subsidy. There is also ongoing opportunity to apply for rural health CPD grants through the RDWA, which our team have been successful in receiving for conference registration and hands-on workshops costs.
