We require a Locum - from the beginning of June to the end of August - 3 days per week while our Podiatrists are on extended leave. You will have the option of continuing in this role 2 days per week.

Footwise Podiatry is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Podiatrist to join our team in Croydon, NSW on a part-time basis. As a Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive podiatric care to our diverse patient base, helping them maintain healthy feet and manage a range of foot and ankle conditions.

What you'll be doing

Conducting thorough examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of foot and ankle problems

Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, including the prescription of orthotics, physical therapy, and other evidence-based interventions

Performing routine preventive care, such as nail trimming, corn and callus removal, and skin care

Educating patients on proper foot hygiene, footwear selection, and self-care techniques

Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with professional standards

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in Podiatry

Current registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia

Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a private practice setting

Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of foot and ankle anatomy, pathologies, and treatment modalities

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise with patients and educate them on their condition and treatment options

A collaborative and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
