Polly Lim
Polly Lim is a clinician and academic at La Trobe University with a research focus on midfoot osteoarthritis. She enjoys musculoskeletal podiatry, particularly rheumatology, and has 13 years of experience working overseas and locally in various healthcare settings. Alongside her patient care and teaching role, she has a keen interest in clinical research and has authored 14 peer-reviewed publications. Her interests include musculoskeletal disorders of the foot and ankle in special populations, with a strong focus on early intervention and non-surgical management of arthritic foot conditions. Her PhD examined the efficacy of foot orthoses for midfoot osteoarthritis, and she presented this work at the APODA and Australian Rheumatology Association conferences in 2025. Polly is passionate about using insights gained through working with clinicians and patients to shape future research and applying research to real-world practice, with the goal of helping people stay active and continue doing the activities they love.
