Advocacy: Core Concepts, Escalation Pathways and How to Get Involved.

Join us for this 40-minute presentation and 10-minute Q&A session on the topic of Advocacy Essentials: Building Confidence, Skills and Impact for 2026.

With over 250 APodA members seeking stronger advocacy knowledge and skills, our Advocacy webinar offers a clear and confidence-building introduction to the fundamentals. This webinar breaks down what advocacy is, how it works, and the role every podiatrist can play in influencing policy and decision-making.

Participants will explore the essential components of an effective advocacy framework, learn when and why to escalate issues, and identify opportunities for APodA to develop tools and resources that support member-led advocacy.

What we will cover:

1. Define Advocacy in the context of the podiatry profession
2. Describe the elements of a framework
3. Outline when to escalate
4. What’s ahead: Digital Health, Pricing, and how to get involved
