AAPSM Advanced foot and ankle taping course

AAPSM with ApodA NSW & ACT brings you Advanced for and ankle taping techniques. Kurt Robertson, clinical Podiatrist at Newcastle Family and Sports Podiatry and consultant Podiatrist for the Newcastle Knights and Newcastle Jets will give participants an evidence based and in depth, hands on workshop.

He has a passion for rehabilitation of injuries and also preventative interventions. Having worked with professional athletes for over 15 years in many capacities, Kurt brings that experience now to his work as a Podiatrist. He completed his post graduate study in Musculoskeletal Management through the sports medicine program at the University of Otago.

Having taped professional footballers in preparation for games and as part of the rehabilitation of injuries Kurt will demonstrate specific techniques used in these scenarios. Techniques for medial and lateral ankle injures, Lisfranc joints, plantar fascia, syndesmosis, turf toe, plantar plate, lateral metatarsal stress, cuboid injuries and more will be covered.
