Ageing skin and the foot

Join us for this 40-minute presentation and 10-minute Q&A session on the topic of Ageing skin and the foot.

The skin on the foot, like the rest of the body, undergoes an ageing process that results in physiological changes in structure and function, leading to an increase in common and some rare skin conditions. This presentation examines the clinically relevant skin changes, their presentation and management.

What we will cover:

1. Recognise the physiology behind skin ageing including changes in thickness, immunity, and epidermal function
2. Identify common clinical physiological and pathological skin changes.
3. Develop management strategies based on current evidence to protect and improve aged skin on the foot.
