Diabetic Foot Assessment: Best Practice Updates

Join us for this 40-minute presentation and 10-minute Q&A session on the topic of Diabetic Foot Assessment: Best Practice Updates

Diabetes-related foot disease remains a major contributor to morbidity and amputation, reinforcing the need for accurate assessment and early intervention. In this webinar, Dr Michelle Kaminski will provide podiatrists with key updates in diabetic foot assessment, drawing on current Australian and International guidelines and public health practices.

The session will cover best-practice assessment, including risk stratification and identification of neuropathy, arterial disease, and ulceration through comprehensive clinical evaluation.

Join us in exploring the management of complex diabetic foot cases in private practice with guidance on identifying red flags and navigating multidisciplinary care pathways. Michelle will provide clarity on when to refer to public high-risk foot services and equip podiatrists with practical, up-to-date knowledge to enhance clinical decision-making.

What we will cover:

1. Apply diabetic foot assessment guidelines
2. Implement effective risk stratification
3. Navigate multidisciplinary care pathways
