PAC SIG Member Connect: Support at Home, Residential Care, Medicare
The Podiatry Aged Care Special Interest Group is pleased to present Member Connect, an open forum designed to bring aged‑care podiatrists together for meaningful conversation and shared learning. This session creates space for members to discuss the realities of their day‑to‑day practice, explore the challenges they are facing, and identify the support they need to continue delivering quality care to older adults. By fostering open dialogue, the forum aims to strengthen professional connection and highlight the collective wisdom within our community.
Participants will have the opportunity to hear how colleagues are navigating similar issues, exchange practical strategies, and contribute their own insights to the discussion. Whether you are seeking guidance, wanting to share your experience, or simply looking to connect with others working in the same specialty area, Member Connect offers a supportive environment to learn, reflect, and collaborate.
The session will be guided by the PAC SIG Committee, with special guests Mary-Ellen Redmayne and Maria Latemore. We invite all PAC SIG members to join us and help shape a conversation that reflects the needs and priorities of podiatrists working in aged care.
What we will discuss:
- Support at Home Program
- Residential care
- Medicare changes in aged care and implications
