Trigger Point Dry Needling

This hands-on dry needling workshop will explore myofascial pain syndrome, trigger point therapy and dry needling concepts in an easy to comprehend practical training method.

This training will give the practitioner enough confidence to be able to introduce dry needling into the clinical setting.

Course outline:

1. Definitions of Trigger Points and myofascial pain syndrome

2. Palpation and massage techniques of the lower limb.

3. Active release techniques.

4. Neural testing

5. Dry Needling in the management of musculoskeletal pain of the calf, Achilles, heel and ball of foot regions in detail.

6. Spray and stretch techniques.

7. Case studies
