Help us advocate for positive policy change: NDIS 2024-25 Annual Pricing Review

In response to the recommendation to reduce hourly rates for podiatrists as part of the 2024-2025 NDIS Annual Pricing Review we conducted a snap poll late last week to gauge general sentiment.
The results are in and we found the following from the podiatry profession:
- 67% starting to decline referrals for people with complex disabilities
- 67% ceasing travel to visit participants in their homes
- 68% considering leaving the scheme
There are 2,833 podiatrists delivering services in the NDIS. If two-thirds leave, that means that 1,900 podiatrists could leave the scheme.
How you can help
We have created a survey here to capture your feedback to fuel our advocacy with the government. We will be advocating for positive policy change to:
- Reverse the reduction on the hourly rate
- Reinstate the previous travel pricing arrangements
- Add a CPI increase to the hourly rate
