Sharpening diagnostic and treatment skills with Dr Ivan Bristow at ‘Live & Local: Clinical Cases in Dermatology’

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Live & Local dermatology roadshow, 'Clinical Cases in Dermatology', presented by renowned podiatric dermatologist Dr Ivan Bristow.
Held over four dates in Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney throughout August 2026, each interactive, full-day workshop brought podiatrists together to sharpen their diagnostic and treatment skills across a wide range of dermatological presentations of the lower limb.
Delegates worked through real-world clinical cases, building a more nuanced understanding of tinea pedis, onychomycosis, eczema, psoriasis, verrucae, corns and calluses, and both benign and malignant skin lesions, including the use of dermoscopy to support more precise, timely diagnosis.
Attendees left the sessions equipped with evidence-based management strategies, a sharper eye for red-flag presentations requiring specialist referral, and renewed confidence in managing complex dermatological cases in-clinic.
We were fortunate to have Dr Ivan Bristow travel the length of the country to bring his depth of expertise and engaging case-based teaching style to each location. A graduate of the University of Oxford and Honorary Professor at Health Sciences University in Dorset, UK, Ivan's passion for lower limb dermatology and knack for making complex cases accessible made for a genuinely valuable day of learning at every stop on the roadshow.
Beyond the formal program, each event wrapped up with a networking function, giving delegates the chance to connect with fellow podiatrists in their region and continue the conversation over drinks.
