That’s a wrap! From Scan to Solution symposium

On Saturday 20 June, the APodA partnered with the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons (ACPS) to deliver From Scan to Solution. This one-day, case-based symposium was held simultaneously in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, making it one of our most well-attended symposiums to date. 

Thank you to everyone who came along, asked questions, and brought the kind of energy that makes these days of collective learning genuinely worthwhile. 

What the day covered 

From Scan to Solution was developed with podiatrists who wanted to extend their learning beyond theory.  

Across 7 hours of Category 1 CPD, attendees moved through real cases from diagnosis through to treatment decisions, using the tools and protocols shaping modern podiatric care, including: 

  • Technology-enabled assessment, including point-of-care ultrasound, to sharpen diagnostic precision and clarity. 
  • Injection therapies, laser applications and shockwave treatment, when to use them, how to apply them, and how to fold them into everyday practice. 
  • Decision frameworks and protocols attendees could take straight back into clinic. 

This wasn't a symposium about ideas; it was a symposium sharing practices and resources podiatrists could start using from the very next day.
