Initial Data and Digital Government

The Data and Digital Government Strategy sets the vision to 2030 for how the Australian Government intends to utilise data and digital to improve the entire spectrum of its activities. It will accelerate the Government’s uptake of and guide its investment in data and digital technologies.

There are options to either complete a survey or submit an individual submission.

To complete the survey, visit the ‘Initial Data and Digital Government Survey’ link below. You can use the same link to upload your individual submission in Step 3. The opportunity for feedback via survey or submission closes Tuesday, 25 July 2023 at 5pm AEST.

NDIS role of pricing and payment approaches in improving participant outcomes and scheme sustainability

The NDIS would also like to hear from you on:

  • how can we make it easier to navigate the NDIS market?
  • how the market approach can be improved to better support participant outcomes and scheme sustainability?

The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Health, Aged Care and Sport has commenced a new inquiry into the prevention, diagnosis and management of all forms of diabetes and obesity and its effects on the Australian population, including prevention, diagnosis and management.

ABS Standard Classification of Occupation

Governments use ANZSCO to shape policy, count and identify skills and occupations in need now and going forward. It’s used to identify skills in demand and what funding support goes to build certain workforces (or not). It is used to determine immigration and visa settings, educational programming and funding etc. In short, it matters.

This consultation round includes allied and other health professions.

The Australian Government is developing Australia’s first National Health and Climate Strategy to ensure the nation’s health system can meet the needs of Australians in the face of a changing climate.

The Goal of the Strategy

The strategy will develop actions to:

  • reduce the carbon footprint of the health system
  • ensure the health system is well prepared for the impacts of climate change
  • increase connections between climate policy and public health policy.
