Podiatrist – full-time or part-time | Malvern, Kooyong and Private Hospital
Graduates and experienced podiatrists welcome · $90,000–$130,000 + super + aged-care bonus structure · No weekends

Most private-practice podiatry jobs give you a treatment room and a diary. This one gives you a hospital as well — primary and secondary care in one job.

Tooronga Podiatry (Malvern, established over 30 years) and Kooyong Podiatry are looking for a podiatrist to join a team of four podiatrists, two allied health assistants and three admin staff, working across our two clinics and Major Melboure Private Hospital.

What your week can include:

• Hospital podiatry at a Major Private Hospital: a secondary-care setting where you’ll work alongside wound-care nurses, the vascular team, doctors and orthopaedics on post-surgical wound management, advanced vascular assessment, advanced wound management, and secondary-care offloading needs
• A full private caseload across Malvern and Kooyong
• MSK and biomechanics
• Nail surgery, supervised until you’re confident
• Home visits and residential aged care, as much or as little as suits you, with AHA support and an uncapped bonus on top of salary that can add more than $850 to a day’s pay

You won’t do all of it every week
We build the mix around your interests and experience. A graduate might start in the clinics and aged care and add hospital and surgery as confidence grows; an experienced podiatrist can take on the hospital nails surgery and MSK work from day one. 

Flexibility that already exists, not a promise
All four of our podiatrists work modified hours: school hours, term-time only, or extra leave for study and family. The roster is built around real lives, and we’ve been doing it long enough to know it works. Full-time or part-time, and no weekend work.

How we support you
Structured mentoring from day one: weekly one-on-one time with Simon in your first year if you’re a graduate, and as often as you want it after that

Supervised hospital rounds and nail surgery until you’re ready to run them yourself

Regular case discussions across the two clinics

$1,500 CPD allowance plus four or more days of study leave every year

Support to build a special interest, whether that’s wound care, MSK, surgery or aged care

Two AHAs and three admin staff, so you’re not sterilising, chasing payments or running the diary

Pay
$90,000–$130,000 + super depending on experience, pro rata for part-time, with the aged-care and home-visit bonus structure on top.
