Administer a wide range of therapies including:
Orthotic prescription and modification
Shockwave therapy
Dry needling
Laser therapy (e.g., for fungal nails)
Nail and skin care (ingrown nails, corns, calluses, verrucae)
Minor surgical procedures (e.g., nail surgery)
c. Patient Education
Educate patients on prevention, self-care, rehabilitation, and proper footwear choices.
Provide guidance on chronic condition management such as diabetes and arthritis.
d. Documentation and Compliance
Maintain accurate and timely patient records using clinic software.
Ensure all clinical notes and treatment plans meet professional and medico-legal standards.
e. Multidisciplinary Collaboration
Liaise with general practitioners, physiotherapists, orthopaedic specialists, and other allied health professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
Participate in case conferences and referral pathways.
f. Professional Development
Participate in internal and external professional development, workshops, and training programs.
Stay updated with current research and best practices in podiatric care.
g. Business and Clinical Operations Support
Contribute to the overall functioning of the clinic, including assisting with marketing initiatives, team meetings, and internal audits.
