The NQ Foot and Ankle Centre is housed in a custom-built Sports Medicine Centre in Townsville, North Queensland. While our focus is on the treatment of musculo-skeletal and sports related injuries to the lower limb, we are recruiting a Podiatrist to manage our significant diabetic and chronic disease management caseload. We have forged a strong working relationship with other health professionals located in the centre, including physiotherapists, massage therapists, exercise physiologists and sports doctors. We are also the team Podiatrists for both national sporting clubs based in Townsville, the North Queensland Cowboys Rugby League team and the Townsville Fire National Basketball team.

We are seeking a motivated Podiatrist willing to learn and be part of a high performing team. Your caseload will be varied, but focus primarily on the delivery of high-quality general treatments and chronic disease management. You will be working alongside some of Townsville’s best allied health and medical professionals. As a result, the successful applicant will need to display excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and thrive on working in a team environment. You will need to be proficient in all areas of Podiatry, with a special focus on general treatments and diabetic foot care. There is scope to develop your special interests with fortnightly continuing education sessions conducted within the clinic. Hours can be flexible, to give you more time to explore our acclaimed tourist attractions including the Great Barrier Reef and Magnetic Island.
