The Opportunity:
As a Podiatrist at Plena Healthcare, you’ll provide routine assessments and treatments in the residential aged care setting, across a permanent 6-week roster. Providing consistency and continuity, working with a range of clients in aged care facilities and communities. Your role will include developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, families, staff, and other healthcare professionals, while applying best practice in routine disease and wound care management.
Whether you’re a new graduate or an experienced podiatrist, we’ll tailor the opportunity to suit your skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough podiatry assessments and diagnoses
- Develop, implement, and review treatment plans
- Apply best practice in disease and wound care management
- Foster strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Provide ongoing support and education to clients in their care journey
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Podiatry
- Current AHPRA registration
- Australian working rights
- Current Covid-19 vaccination
- Willingness to obtain NDIS worker screening and National Police Check
