Position Vacant: Part Time

Salary: Starting 40% commission (negotiable with experience)

Location: Vermont South & Carlton North (negotiable)

Hours: 30 hours per week (option to increase)

Position:

Access Podiatry is offering an opportunity to work in a well-regarded podiatry practice with an established and growing client list across multiple medical centre locations.

As a podiatrist or senior podiatrist with Access Podiatry, you will work independently to see a range of clients, with a focus on:

• managing chronic illnesses, including diabetes and neurological disorders

• dealing with sporting injuries and rehabilitation

• minor surgeries and dry needling

• prescribing orthotics.

You will be supported with:

• an existing client list that can be tailored to suit your interests

• regular mentoring and training from a senior podiatrist to support your development depending on your career objectives

• mentoring on how to be a private practice podiatrist

• administrative support, to free up your time

• a multi-disciplinary team of medical professionals at each location.

Qualifications and experience

To succeed in this role, you will have:

1. interpersonal skills with an ability to create a rapport with a variety of people

2. problem solving skills to deal with a range of health conditions

3. a keen interest to learn and develop your podiatry skills.

Mandatory requirements

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in podiatry

• Current AHPRA registration

• Current police check

• First aid and CPR certificates

• Professional indemnity and liability insurance

• A valid driver’s license and car.
