Position Vacant: Part Time

An exciting opportunity exists to become part of a private podiatry practice located within a large and very well respected medical practice in Hunters Hill. We have an excellent professional relationship with the 15 GPs in the centre as well as the nurses and the other allied health professions, providing a steady referral base. The podiatry practice has a long-standing reputation and loyal patient base with a strong community presence.

We're looking for a motivated and caring Podiatrist to join the practice. Our clinic offers a friendly environment with clinical variety. You will be taking over current clients so there will be a steady flow of patients. 

Offering

• Established clientele and a friendly, easy-going work environment with great   patients
• Flexible hours – part-time ( requires some late afternoon availability) This   can be achieved through 2 full days or a few part time days/Sat morning etc.   Hours can be discussed
• Competitive salary- Structure of remuneration can be discussed 
• Fully equipped, bright and spacious treatment room and separate   sterilising/store room
• Full time reception support
• 30min appointments (or longer if requiring)

Job Role 

You will be involved in all aspects of podiatry, including:

• General podiatry & routine foot care
• Diabetes assessment, education and foot care
• Biomechanical assessments
• Sports & musculoskeletal conditions
• Orthotics (including assessment & dispensing)
• Nail surgery

Requirements

• AHPRA registration
• Valid Police Check and Working With Children Check
• Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
• Private practice experience
• Able to work autonomously 
• A committed professional who takes initiative 
• A confident and empathetic communicator who values building strong   patient relationships with excellent patient care skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
