Feetology Podiatry & Orthotics is looking for another podiatrist to join our small team in Victoria Point.

We’re open-minded about where you are in your career. You may have a couple of years’ experience and be looking for somewhere to keep developing, or you may be an experienced podiatrist looking for a good private practice role with plenty of autonomy.

What matters most to us is that you have sound clinical foundations, communicate well with patients, are reliable and are interested in doing broad podiatry well.

You’ll step into an established patient base, with genuine opportunity to grow the biomechanical/MSK, orthotic and ingrown toenail side of your caseload over time.

The Role

The work is broad private practice podiatry and includes:

• biomechanical/MSK assessment and treatment
• orthotic therapy, footwear advice and shockwave
• ingrown toenails and nail surgery
• common paediatric presentations
• general nail, skin and diabetic care

General care is currently a substantial part of our caseload, but there is steady demand for biomechanical/MSK, orthotic and ingrown toenail work. We are keen for the right podiatrist to develop the areas of practice they enjoy as their patient base grows.

There are no aged care facility visits, no home visits and no weekend work.

Hours

We are ideally looking for someone who would like a substantial ongoing role of around 4–5 days per week, but we would also consider 3 days per week for the right person.

The final roster can be worked through together.

About You

You may be a good fit if you:

• communicate well and build good relationships with patients
• have sound clinical foundations and are keen to keep developing
• enjoy broad private practice podiatry
• have an interest in biomechanical/MSK work, or would like to develop further in this area
• manage your patients, clinical notes and follow-up well

For someone earlier in their career, we can provide support with areas such as biomechanical assessment, orthotic prescription and our clinic systems. For someone more experienced, we are happy to give you the autonomy to bring your own clinical judgement and experience to the role.
