The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Podiatrist to step into a unique role that blends day to day clinical practice and clinical education in a hands-on practical teaching opportunity based in Whyalla. You will be working alongside a team of experienced Podiatrists to contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services to eligible clients in the community. You will also contribute to workforce development in a meaningful way by actively engaging with students to deliver a high-quality learning outcomes in the practical application of podiatry. Play a key role in building student confidence and competence in a real-world setting.
About You
- Bachelor of Podiatry suitable for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA)
- Ability to assess, plan and implement appropriate intervention to clients with active foot complications requiring pressure care and wound management.
- Ability in identifying and developing client goals and client focused care plans.
- Bring your clinical expertise and passion to education
- Experience supervising students in a clinical setting (desirable)
