Peak Performance Podiatry is a leading Sports & Exercise Podiatry clinic located across multiple sites in Canberra — including the CBD, Braddon and Dickson. Our City Centre & Dickson locations features a full rehabilitation gym and gait analysis lab, and our team includes Accredited Sports Scientists and Professional Strength & Conditioning Coaches, enabling a truly multidisciplinary approach.

YOUR ROLE:

This is a Grade 1 Podiatrist position, ideal for a new graduate or early-career podiatrist seeking experience in sports & exercise podiatry and rehabilitation.
Work Hours:

  • 4-day week (inclusive of admin time), or
  • Option to work 5 days/38 hours if preferred

Mentoring Structure:

  • 4-week onboarding program with a blend of consulting, clinical observation, reflection, and system training
  • Monthly mentoring for the first 6 months
  • Quarterly reviews during the second half of the first year


YOUR RENUMERATION:

Remuneration (Based on 5-Day Week, Pro-Rata for 4 Days):


• Grade 1 - Podiatrist – $75,000 - $85,000 p/a ($37.96 - $43.01 p/h) + Super


• Grade 2 - Associate Podiatrist - $86,000 - $95,000 p/a ($43.50 - $48.08 p/h) Retainer, 42% Commission + Super


• Grade 3 - Senior Podiatrist - $96,000 - $105,000 p/a ($48.59 - $53.14 p/h) Retainer, 45% Commission + Super


• Grade 4 - Managing Podiatrist - $106,000 - $115,000+ p/a ($53.64 - $58.20 p/h) Retainer, 48% Commission + Super


*There is a possible option to have S&C mentoring as well if you would like to develop and acquire an ASCA S&C Coaching certification.


YOUR REQUIREMENTS + QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Podiatry (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration
  • Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
  • Interest in sports, biomechanics, and rehabilitation
  • Membership with SEPA, SMA or similar will be highly regarded
  • Willingness to provide a 1-page A4 summary explaining your passion for podiatry and interest in this role
